Chatham Docks
Quite a few of the children took the opportunity to get in a little nap on the way to the docks this morning. We had a tour through a submarine, saw how rope is made and even tried it ourselves. We learnt how ships used camouflage during the war and then we tried to do the same. After lunch we toured the lifeboat section and learnt about self-righting boats. Our next workshop was all about this and we made, then tried out our boats. We finished the day firing rockets. What fun!
